Presentation by Serge Caillet of the conference on
the Martinist Order: a history of transmission.
Hello,
My name is Serge Caillet.
For those of you who don't know me, I have been studying the history and doctrines of Western initiatory societies for over 40 years now, particularly Freemasonry, whether occultist or illuminist, Egyptian Masonic rites, certain Rosicrucian currents, and Martinism in all its forms, from Martines de Pasqualy and Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin to Papus and his successors to the present day.
I have also taken a keen interest in the great figures who have marked this history, such as M. Philippe, or, more recently, Robert Ambelain.
I am very honored to accept the invitation from my friends André Gauthier and Pascal Dimanche to give a lecture at the Martinist Order convention, which will be held in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon next May.
The theme of this conference will be: The Martinist Order: History of a Transmission. This will be an opportunity for me to look back on the key moments in this history, from 1887, when Papus founded the Martinist Order, to the present day.
I am therefore very pleased to invite you, Martinists, to the magnificent Domaine Lyon Saint-Joseph in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon on Friday, May 15, 2026, in the early afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
