Activities of the Martinist Order

The Martinist Order organizes gatherings that reflect its identity and influence. Being open and transparent, it is not a "secret society." Its events are open to all members, both French and foreign, as well as their loved ones (friends and family). However, ritual events remain exclusively reserved for initiated members. These gatherings aim to share the Order's values and create spaces for reflection and fraternity.

The Martinist Order offers two major annual events:

- The International Convention

- Papus Days

The annual international convention

The Martinist Order's International Convention takes place every year during Ascension Day weekend. On this occasion, a different French Martinist Group is responsible for organizing the event, which focuses on a general theme. This theme is explored in depth throughout the year through workshop discussions. These workshops, organized in small groups, encourage collective reflection, where each contribution enriches the discussions and aligns with the contributions of other participants.
During this convention, reflection meetings, organized by "degrees," allow initiates to share their experiences and deepen their spiritual journey. In addition, two ritual meetings are planned: one reserved for initiators, and the other open to all initiates.
In addition to these reflections and initiatory explorations, festive activities reinforce the convivial nature of the event. The convention, which is held on a full-board basis, guarantees an immersive and enriching experience for all participants.

Papus Days

Every year, on a date close to the anniversary of the passing of our Venerated Master "Papus," around October 25, the Martinist Order celebrates his memory and that of his son "Jean." These Papus Days are always held in Paris, particularly because of the commemorative ceremony at Père Lachaise Cemetery. The highlights of the Papus Days are:

  • A conference on a theme related to Martinism

  • A ritual meeting

  • The commemoration at Papus's tomb

  • The "Papus" banquet These events strengthen ties between members while honoring the traditions and spiritual heritage of the Founder.
